Cork is Ireland’s Festival and Events Capital hosting more than 24 – that’s right 24!  major festivals every year plus hundreds of smaller events. Take part in our renowned St Patrick’s Festival in March or come listen to over 100 of the world’s most amazing choirs perform in the International Choral Festival in May each year.

Sample your choice of Cork’s own Black Stuff, (we have two stouts brewed in Cork - Beamish and Murphy’s – and they rival the Dublin stuff any day!!) as you listen to the best of Irish Traditional music each September at the Beamish Cork Folk Festival. Or groove it up at Ireland’s premier Jazz Festival - the Cork Guiness Jazz Festival, in October each year.
